Harry is a confident and reliable litigator and has for well over a decade advised and appeared as an advocate in prosecution and defence of commercial cases of varying nature, parties and value.
He has been instructed alongside Senior Counsel in several matters of note and has equally acted successfully without lead counsel in handling contentious commercial matters of significant value from start to finish.
Harry has advised and appeared as advocate for representatives of foreign governments in Nigeria, investors of all kinds and local businesses including blue-chip companies in the energy, infrastructure and services industry. Harry’s forte is commercial dispute resolution with emphasis on arbitration, mediation and litigation; and his areas of expertise include Intellectual Property, Banking, Insurance & Finance, Aviation, Labour & Employments. He however has a rather broad-based commercial and civil practice experience that has seen him handling matters and advising on international trade, shipping, domestic & international commercial arbitration, energy law, product liability and family law.
Harry is the arbitration and litigation team lead and deploys litigation strategy developed in conjunction with the Partners. Harry is admitted as a Notary Public for Nigeria and is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), as well as the Section on Business Law.
Harry’s commercial disputes experience extends from Federal High Courts across Nigeria, several State High Courts and the National Industrial Court, up to the Appellate Courts. He has however, also been active in smaller trials and interlocutory matters in lower Courts in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and across Nigeria.
