EXPERIENCE

Harry Ukaejiofor is a Partner and head of the Civil Litigation, Arbitration and Mediation Group. Harry has over fifteen years experience as a Barrister and is considered a competent and reliable trial lawyer.

Harry has successfully represented foreign governments in Nigeria, foreign Investors, local businesses including blue-chip companies in the energy, infrastructure and services industries. He has also been instructed alongside Senior Counsel in several landmark matters.

Harry’s forte is commercial dispute resolution with emphasis on arbitration, mediation and litigation; and his areas of expertise include Banking, Insurance & Finance, Shipping and Maritime, Labour & Employments. He however has a rather broad-based commercial and civil practice experience that has seen him handling matters and advising on international trade, shipping, domestic & international commercial arbitration, energy law, product liability and family law.

Harry is admitted as a Notary Public for Nigeria and is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), the Nigerian Bar Association, and its Section on Business Law.
